PULP FICTIONSLEEPYSIDE-ON-THE-HUDSON STYLE
Welcome to my not-actually-a-website website! This is simply another mock site to demonstrate Weebly possibilities. And since I was making one anyway, I figured I could dedicate this one to Trixie & Dan, for those who have crossed over to the Dark (One's) Side. You know who you are.
No, sadly I did not find an old pulp detective magazine with a boy in a black leather jacket and blond girl in a red Bob-White-ish jacket. I actually had to combine three different images into one to get this to work. |
ETA: I wanted to be especially clear. You can type pages in HTML directly and upload them. So if you want something you can't get with a standard Weebly template, you can make your own page template. I did this:
And the result is this. This page is the "example." I have now in my editor drop-down menu of page options the choices that came with the tempate, but the one I added, "plain." (As you can see by the file name in the screen cap.) I could use this same template page over and over within the Weebly editor, any time I wanted. Will I? No. For one thing, I'd need to include more coding to set the page width properly, but I wanted you to see that yes, you can absolutely code what you want and then upload it and use Weebly as a host. For another thing, it's not only plain. It's ugly.
